Our Work
Welcoming Mayors
One of the key features of strong communities is the ability to welcome newcomers. But despite the increased focus in recent years on devolution and local deals offering more powers, this aspect of welcoming newcomers is one that is rarely discussed in relation to the role of Mayors. Our new project aims to change that, with a particular focus on those seeking sanctuary in the UK.
Virtues of Faith
Surveying over 3,000 members of various UK’s faith communities and those who are non-religious, the Good Faith Partnership in collaboration with the University of Birmingham’s Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues conducted a study to find out the commonality and differences amongst different faith and non-faith groups in the UK.

The Warm Welcome rapidly equipped and supported community organisations to open their doors and create accessible, free, safe, warm and welcoming spaces. Over 7,000 registered Spaces welcomed 150,000 visits per week (at peak) with more than 550,000 unique visitors and nearly 2.5 million visits over the winter.
Welcome Hubs
In light of the British Government’s Homes for Ukraine scheme, the concept of ‘Welcome Hubs’ was developed to provide a wrap-around community response for Ukrainians coming to the UK. The Welcome Hubs are designed to link local, volunteer-led groups to each other as well as to the corresponding Local Authority and the wider VCSE sector.
