The Warm Welcome Campaign

Across the country, as we faced below freezing temperatures in winter 2022-23, millions of people struggled to heat their homes. The Warm Welcome rapidly equipped and supported community organisations to open their doors and create accessible, free, safe, warm and welcoming spaces. Over 7,000 registered Spaces welcomed 150,000 visits per week (at peak) with more than 550,000 unique visitors and nearly 2.5 million visits over the winter.
