The ChurchWorks Commission brings together 15 major UK Christian denominations to build the collective impact of the church in the public square to work well with the government and other partners to address some of the major challenges facing our country. Good Faith Partnership is delighted to support the Commission by acting as the group’s secretariat.

Across the country, as we faced below freezing temperatures in winter 2022-23, millions of people struggled to heat their homes. The Warm Welcome rapidly equipped and supported community organisations to open their doors and create accessible, free, safe, warm and welcoming spaces. Over 7,000 registered Spaces welcomed 150,000 visits per week (at peak) with more than 550,000 unique visitors and nearly 2.5 million visits over the winter.

The Faith in Prisons (FiP) project aim was to compile a detailed assessment of the impact of faith-based interventions in the criminal justice system in England and Wales, with a particular focus on the areas of crime prevention (before the gate), prison chaplaincy (behind the gate) and rehabilitation (beyond the gate)

The GFP has investigated the pivotal role of faith communities in supporting the vulnerable during the last fifteen months. The resulting report explores the possibilities of an exciting deal between faith communities and the government in the Covid-19 recovery phase, that will positively impact the lives of millions across the country.

Since its conception, the Good Faith Partnership has played a leading role in the development of the Community Sponsorship of Refugees programme.

Your Neighbour is a UK Church response to the Covid-19 crisis working with a network of over 1000 churches and 40 denominations to strengthen communities, equip the Church, and connect churches to the local and national government.
