Your Neighbour
Launched in Easter 2020, YourNeighbour.org is a UK Church national response to the COVID-19 crisis and a project of the Good Faith Foundation and Good Faith Partnership. In the first six weeks, we built a network of over 1,100 churches and denominational partners, including the Church of England, Salvation Army, Baptists Together, Assemblies of God, Vineyard, and the Methodist Church. It also partners with faith-based organisations such as Love Your Neighbour, Home for Good, TLG, and CAP.
Your Neighbour exists to equip local churches to serve their communities by creating a platform that will enable the Church to respond to the crisis in transformational ways – increasing impact and drawing in the hard-to-reach and vulnerable. The Lockdown Hunger programme Your Neighbour ran saw over 2.8 million meals delivered to families in need over the school holidays, with an estimated 5 million meals per month provided by the UK Church during the pandemic.
