Good Faith holds Parliamentary event to showcase Great Faith exhibition

On 10 November, the Good Faith Partnership - as part of our support for the General Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Forum for Peace - was delighted to help organise an event in Parliament showcasing the Great Faith: Stories of Sacrifice and Contribution exhibition.

The exhibition features 80 portraits by renowned artist Arabella Dorman, commissioned by the Great Faith Initiative, each depicting a Muslim who has served, or is currently serving, in Britain’s armed forces. Together, these striking works highlight the courage, service, and sacrifice of British Muslims throughout history and today.

Hosted in the historic River Room at the Houses of Parliament, the event brought together MPs, Peers and Civil Society Actors to reflect on the stories behind the paintings and celebrate the contributions they represent.

Speakers included His Excellency Sheikh Al-Mahfouz bin Bayyah, Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Forum for Peace; Lord Rook OBE, Founding Partner at the Good Faith Partnership; Nizam Uddin OBE, Founder and Convenor of the Great Faith Initiative; and Arabella Dorman herself, alongside others who shared ongoing efforts to ensure that the role of Muslims, both past and present, in protecting Britain and her allies is rightly recognised and honoured.
