Good Faith Partnership was delighted to bring faith leaders together with the Minister for Climate Katie White in Westminster in early November 2025, ahead of the COP30 conference in Brazil which is currently underway.

The aim of the meeting was to hear from leaders across the UK’s faith traditions about the power of partnership with faith communities in tackling climate change, what faith communities have already been engaged with, and their plans in the lead up to COP30 and beyond.

Senior faith leaders from the Church of England, the Catholic Church, different denominations of Judaism, Sikhism and Islam came together to talk to Ms White in the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero.

Participants were encouraged by the meeting and hope this will serve as springboard for further engagement with the government as it tackles the climate crisis.
