Mohammed Ahmed spoke at the ICCJ Conference

Mohammed Ahmed spoke at the ICCJ Conference in Salzburg on Monday 24 June 2024. He presented on Holiness and Sacredness within Islam, and commented on religiosity amongst Muslims in Europe today. His response came after a keynote speech by practical theologian Regina Polack from the University of Vienna. Mohammed addressed the need for temperate voices, such as those of Shaykh Abdullah b. Bayyah, and emphasised the need to preserve the spirit of the Marrakesh Declaration - a legal text that aims to safeguard minorities.
