Forum for Peace featured at Bradford Literature Festival

At the end of June 2024 the Forum for Peace UK team delivered an event at the Bradford Literature Festival titled "The Ethics of AI: The Impact of AI on Faith". Speakers included Abu Dhabi Forum for Peace Executive Director Zeshan Zafar and Dr Nathan Mladin, Senior Researcher at Theos.

The event corresponded with the launch of our AI and Faith Handbook, reflecting key speeches and reflections from the Forum's summer 2023 conference on AI in Parliament. The Handbook, co-produced by the Forum for Peace and Faraday Institute for the Study of Science and Religion at the University of Cambridge, features reflections from religious leaders, politicians, and academics representing a variety of faith backgrounds and none.

The event in Bradford was moderated by Dr Austin Tiffany, and Nicole Pearson - who led on compiling the handbook - walked the audience through the literature and cast a vision for how it can be used today. The handbook can be read here.
